Along with the Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro, Xiaomi launched Mi TV 4 and priced at ₹39,999. The TV comes with introductory offers including three-month subscription (worth ₹619) to Sony Liv, Hungama, and the Mi IR cable (worth ₹299) with free installation (worth ₹1099) for free.
Mi LED TV 4(55) is a 55 inch 4K HDR Smart TV claimed to be the world's slimmest TV with a thickness of 4.99 mm. The TV was first unveiled at the CES 2017 and went on sale in China June last year. This is the first model from Xiaomi TV to launch in India marking its entry into the TV segment.
The Xiaomi LED TV 4 sports a 55-inch display with 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) and HDR capable. The display has a refresh rate of 60Hz with viewing angle 178 degrees. The company said it has a response rate of 8ms. Under the hood, the TV is powered by Amlogic Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.8 GHz coupled with Mali-T830 GPU with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
On the connectivity side, the Xiaomi Mi TV 4 has three HDMI 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0 port, an Ethernet port, an S/PDIF port, dual-band (2.5 GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and Bluetooth 4.0. The TV boasts to 8W downward firing speakers with Dolby + DTS Cinema to enhance the Audio Quality. The TV runs on a custom Patch Wall UI offering a personal recommendation to the Indian market.
The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 comes bundled with an 11 button Bluetooth Mi remote which can also be used to control set-top boxes apart from the TV itself with the help of Mi IR cable. It supports 13 regional languages and 15 content languages.
