"Rolling from now: JB 4.2 for #XperiaL - custom ops, small apps, latest Sony's media apps & improved camera functions."
This update is available to the Sony Xperia L users through Over-the-Air(OTA) and also through PC companion Desktops.
Sony has also released a changelog for the update (build number 15.3.A.0.26) that reveals the Xperia L will be getting a revamped home screen for handling widgets, apps and shortcuts, and would also get seven desktop panes.
The Company has not mentioned a specific timeline for the Sony Xperia L update, though it does mention the timing and availability may vary by market and carrier.
