First Smartphone with OCTACORE Processor. . .!!

Chinese manufacture UIM has introduced a phone UIM X2S.What makes the phone important is that it is the first smartphone to come up  with world's first octa core processor MT-6592 produced by Mediatek.The chip can access all 8 cores at a same time whereas the Samsung Exynos 5 Octa-core processor can access upto 4 cores at a single time.

The UMI X2S was displayed at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair which ended on Wednesday. The device is the sequel to the UMI X2. The manufacturer traditionally uses MediaTek silicon which is usually priced lower than processors made by other firms, like Qualcomm. The UMI X2S  features a 5 inch screen with 1080 x 1920 resolution and is equipped with a 1.5GHz MT6592 octa-core processor under the hood. 2GB of RAM is on board along with 32GB of native storage. The 13MP snapper on back features a Sony made lens and the model supports NFC.

The price of the UMI X2S ranges from USD 249 to 1999. Launch date was not announced yet.
