[Video Tutorial] How to install Custom ROM in any Micromax Mobile using TWRP Custom Recovery

Many of us want to mod their device some prefer by using launchers and some by rooting.As I already said by rooting you can mod your device to an entirely different level but your warranty will be void once you root your device.

In case of Micromax you can get your warranty back by installing\flashing Stock ROM that is company's original ROM.So users no need to worry about warranty however if you did not follow the steps correctly you will end up in bricking your device either hard brick or soft brick.

In this, we are going to see how to install custom ROM on any Micromax mobile using TWRP recovery.You can find a video tutorial at the end of the post.

Pre Requisites :

1. Charge your device upto 80%.
2. Root your device properly.
3. Download any custom ROM for "your device" and place it in the root folder of your SD or Internal SD card. (Download ROM for your device only if you try to flash ROM for another device then you can play cricket with your mobile like a ball :p,. it means you have bricked your device.)
4. Install custom Recovery using Mobile uncle Tools. (Download Mobile Uncle )
5. Take an IMEI backup using Mobile uncle tools.
6. Enable USB Debugging in developer options.(To get developer option in settings tap build number 5-8 times)

Procedure :

• Reboot into recovery mode by pressing Vol - & vol + along with power button simultaneously and then press vol + for entering recovery mode.
• Now first take a Nandroid backup by taping on backup and select all options then swipe the below button from left to right.(Nandroid Backup means taking backup of your whole ROM including all your data. (This step is not necessary but it is important to always take a backup of your device before flashing any ROM.This is to avoid losing data if anything goes wrong you can restore it.)
• After the backup completes tap on Wipe and then Swipe the below button.
• Now tap on install and locate your ROM and Tap on it then Swipe the below button.
• Flashing will take almost 5-10 minutes depending on the ROM and device.
• After flashing completes tap wipe Dalvik cache and Swipe button.
• Now tap on Reboot system.
• The first boot will take up to 10 mins please have patience.
• Tada...!! That's all you have successfully installed Custom ROM.
