Nokia started to roll out Android Oreo 8.1 update to Nokia 8 devices. Things are moving in a faster phase since they announced the beta testing couple of weeks ago. Juho Sarvikas (Chief Product Officer, HMD Global) announced on Twitter and started to roll out to users.
Many users stated to share screenshots. The update package is over 1.5 GB in size and can only be downloaded via Wi-Fi connection. You can check the availability of the update on your Nokia 8 by going to Settings > System Updates. The update brings a February security patch along with the Oreo 8.1 update.
Other major things to notice in the update are Bluetooth device battery status, revamped power menu, new settings menu and more importantly correction to hamburger emoji with cheese slice on top of patty! Besides you can expect bug fixes and performance improvement.
