The Chinese smartphone maker Oppo launched an entry level device named A71 (2018) in the Indian market for Rupees 9,990.

The device is powered by Snapdragon 450 chipset which is clocked at 1.8 GHz with Adreno 506 GPU. The processor is coupled with 3 GB of RAM so multi tasking shouldn't be a problem. The Snapdragon 450 chipset uses the leading-edge 14 nm processing technology providing premium experience without draining the battery. Design wise the device looks exactly like its predecessor with a 5.2 inch HD (1280 x 720) TFT display.
The camera unit of the Oppo A71 is powered with a 13 MP rear shooter with multi frame de-noising technology and Ultra HD. The former is just a noise reduction software while the latter creates a 32 MP pics with the help of burst shot. While the front 5 MP camera is powered with AI (Artificial Intelligence) face beautification. According to their website this feature is based on a global image database and serves as a experienced photographer and offers the most suitable effect. The front shooter has a pixel size of 1.4 μm.
Storage wise the Oppo A71 has 16 GB internal storage and can be expanded upto 256 GB with a Micro SD card. To power all this the device has a 3000 mAh battery. It runs on Colour OS 3.2 based on Android Nougat 7.1. The device has a thickness of 7.8 mm and weighs about 137 grams.
Oppo A71 is a unibody device and the battery cannot be removed. The handset is available in two colors Gold and black color. As far as connectivity is concerned it supports Dual Nano SIM cards with 4G connectivity and USB OTG is supported. Unfortunately the device does not have a fingerprint sensor.
