Lineage OS 15.1 (Unofficial) Brings Android Oreo to First Generation Android One Devices

XDA recognized developer Varun Chitre has uploaded an Alpha build of Lineage OS 15.1 based on Android Oreo Go for first-generation Android One devices. While there isn't any official version released yet but the developers of the Lineage OS are working hard and many uploaded unofficial builds. Since this is an Alpha build things may or may not work. As of now, Camera didn't work and cellular connection calls and data are buggy from time to time. We can expect some bug fixes in the next build.

 

Android Oreo Go is a special edition of Android Oreo specifically built and optimized for those low-end devices. It consists of special build configurations and Android Go optimized apps which means custom AOSP ROMs can implement Android Go optimization into their ROM builds.


Android One first generation devices include Micromax Canvas A1, Karbonn Sparkle V, and Spice Dream UNO.
