Xiaomi is slowly and steadily conquering the smartphone market with its Low Price - High Feature phones.Xiaomi Mi 3 and Mi 4 made a Storm in the smartphone market.Now the latest addition to the company is the Successor of Xiaomi Mi 4, the Mi 5 which was slowly cooked in the Xiaomi R&D.
Xiaomi Mi 5 is said to have a Snapdragon 820 processor along with a 4 GB of RAM.According to the leak by the Weibo Leakster Leakfly Xiaomi Mi 5 will be launched in the November in China.The Smartphone was already planned for the launch in this summer but due to the late in the launch Qualcomm release of the Snapdragon 820 Processor the release of the Mi 5 was extended.
According to the Leaks, the Mi 5 will feature a 5.5 inch Quad HD (1440 X 2560 resolution) display with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor with 4 GB of RAM.The leaks also rumoured that the Smartphone may feature a 20 MP Rear camera with a 16 MP Front Facing Camera which was a great news for the Selfie Lovers.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 will run Android Lollipop 5.1 Out of Box with the Company's own Skin MIUI on top of it.The biggest USP of the device is the presence of the Finger Print Sensor which comes embedded with the Qualcomm Chipset.The Snapdragon 820 comes with Sense ID which that deploys a Ultrasonic sound technology via a-Vis optics.The Ultrasound is more resilient to water and dust on the user finger.
The device will come in two variants with 16 GB and 64 GB Onboard storage and probably no external storage support.The device is touted to feature USB Type-C.
All this bundle are packed in a 5.1 mm thickness chamber which is quite good to hold and carry a large 5.5 inch display device.
There is a question that will this Mi 5 be released in the US.? The answer till now was preferably No as the previous versions of the Mi were not released in the US.
