A new leak suggests that the Xiaomi’s flagship device Mi 7 could come with a notch. Since the launch of iPhone X, many manufacturers copied the design without any shame including Asus with their new Zenfone 5 and 5Z and OnePlus 6. There are a lot of devices with the notch, check those here.
Back to the topic, a new leak surfaced online claiming that the Xiaomi’s next flagship device Mi 7 may perhaps have a notch. According to the leaked photo, the glass panel is alleged to be of the Xiaomi’s Mi 7 with a somewhat wide notch accommodating the front camera, earpiece, and sensors. The bottom bezels are thin with the edges are curved and appears to be a 2.5D glass. The glass panel is compared with the Vivo X21 screen (right). It appears that the Xiaomi’s notch is bigger and yet the bottom bezels are thin.
Also, Xiaomi is holding an event tomorrow (27 March) in China to launch the Mi Mix 2S which is rumored to arrive with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and 8GB RAM.
