Xiaomi is well known for its budget-oriented devices with power packed performance. While Xiaomi is busy in launching its flagship device Mi Mix 2s in MWC 2018 a new device named "Black Shark" was spotted on AnTuTu benchmark.

On digging the name "Black Shark" in Google, we got a website under the same name registered in China. The site was first discovered by Gizmochina last week.  The website revealed that the primary investor of "Black Shark" is Xiaomi. Apparently, Xiaomi does not want to launch the gaming device under its own brand name but under a subsidiary brand, called Black Shark.

The leaked specification reveals a powerful device with latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 coupled with Adreno 630 GPU and 8GB of RAM. Further specifications revealed are 32GB of internal storage and an 18:9 aspect ratio display with 2160 x 1080 px resolution. The "Black Shark" device runs on Android Oreo 8.0 and scores an AnTuTu score of 270680.

The upcoming Samsung S9+ scored a 265267 on the AnTuTu benchmark.

No other details were revealed. We could expect a 120Hz refresh rate display with an additional internal cooling system to compete with the other flagship devices of Samsung, LG, or Asus. On release, this device could compete with the Razer phone which was released last year November with a 120Hz refresh rate display. The Razer phone was powered by Snapdragon 835 coupled with 8GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage. The Razer smartphone supports Qualcomm quick charge 4+ technology.

It is unknown that if the device will be unveiled at the MWC 2018.
